About

I'm a clinical psychologist (Psy.D.) and specialize in helping people with ADHD and executive function challenges to thrive. I'm somewhat unique in that I often blend traditional therapy with ADHD/executive function coaching. I do also frequently just help clients with ADHD/EF issues while they continue to work with an existing therapist on other things. For kids and teens, this often involves helping them plan out homework assignments, revamp morning and evening routines, organize their room, and also support anxiety or other things that impede thriving. With adults, I often assist them in planning out work tasks, track activities and chores at home, reduce feeling overwhelmed, and more. Across all age groups, I help people to be better organized, less stressed, and more productive. Outside of my practice, I'm on the National CHADD board as the chair of the Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) and also the chapter coordinator for the Montgomery County, Maryland CHADD chapter. I also write frequently for Attention Magazine and have had articles published in other publications as well, including Washington Parent Magazine. Furthermore, I love technology, and have built a couple of AI programs that help people plan out their tasks and feel less overwhelmed including one where you can talk to the program instead of typing and it will talk back to you in what sounds like a human voice. Related to this, I also have created a few Notion templates that help people track tasks/assignments and plan them out. Finally, what I've often seen is that one size does not fit all when it comes to strategies and tools for people to thrive. Typically, it's the simplest tools, and the right combination of them, as well as using them in an effective manner, that helps people to thrive. Additionally, what people often miss when trying to use a calendar or task list on their own is how to add the right information and plan effectively to make the tools as useful as possible. Adding to this, addressing challenges with follow through, time blindness, and more can really make the difference in being successful in using tools and strategies.
